Overview
DocoPrompt (“we”, “us”) is a free prompt library. This policy covers what information the website collects when you browse, save, or sign in.
Information we collect
- A device identifier. On your first visit, we set an anonymous, randomly generated identifier in a cookie so we can recognize your browser on return visits — for example, to keep your saved prompts. It contains no personal information by itself.
- Account information, if you sign in with Google. Your name, email address, and profile photo, as provided by Google. Signing in links your existing saved/liked prompts to that account.
- Activity on the library. Which prompts you save, like, and copy, and when — tied to your device identifier or account.
We don’t collect payment information — there’s nothing to buy.
Cookies
We use two cookies, both functional (not advertising or cross-site tracking): one holding your device identifier (kept for up to 10 years), and one holding your current sign-in state (kept for up to a year). Both are signed to prevent tampering.
How we use this information
To show you the prompts you’ve saved or liked, to recognize your device between visits, and to understand which prompts are actually useful to people. We don’t sell data or share it for advertising.
Third-party services
Signing in uses Google Sign-In — Google processes that authentication under its own privacy policy. We only receive the profile fields listed above.
Your choices
Clearing your browser’s cookies resets your device identifier and disconnects any saved activity from that browser. You can sign out at any time from the account menu.
Children’s privacy
DocoPrompt isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
